Bordenians took a while to settle into this game and did not look the stronger side in the first ten minutes.  After a superb short corner goal from Becky Philpot, the ladies found their composure and began to play the great hockey they had played in previous games.  Three further goals, all in open play, then came in quick succession.  Kelly Apps adding one and Amber Oxberry two, her first time in an attacking position.  After losing a vital player at half time, the Old Boys only managed to put one more past Clifftonville, Steph Cross taking the ball off the goalkeeper's legs and slotting it away into their goal.  A slight lapse in concentration near the end allowed Clifftonville to put a mark on the Old Boys' clean sheet.
