Old Bordenian Ladies 2nds  went into this match hoping not to repeat the previous week's performance against Sevenoaks where they had their first league defeat.  It did not start well for the Ladies as they struggled to settle down and were finally penalised by Edenbridge who took the lead.  This seemed to jolt the Old Boys back into the game and there were glimmers of the superb way they have played for the first half of the season, one of which was a great goal just before half time by Vicky Shelley.  The game could have gone either way in the second half but some great saves by Tina Wellsted stopped the game going Edenbridge's way.  Bordenians managed to convert another goal courtesy of Lydia Stone and held onto their lead till the final whistle and they remain at the top of the table.
