Old Bordenian Ladies 2^nd X1 – 1

This turned out to be the hardest game of the season so far for the Bordenian Ladies 2nds.  Although missing several key players, the OB Ladies continually pressured the Edenbridge goal but were unable to convert any of the many chances.  Great play in defence by Jo Knee and a brilliant save from Tina Wellsted kept Edenbridge out and it looked to be heading towards a goalless draw.  However, four minutes from the end, Becky Philpott finally managed to put the ball in the back of the goal following a short corner.  Bordenian Ladies took another well deserved three points and kept a clean sheet.
