Old Bordenian Ladies 2^nd X1 - 6

The Ladies' 2nds were away again this week and with the top spot already secured were determined not let their winning ways slip.  As with previous games, Old Bordenians took a while to settle into the game but once they did the goals went flying in.  Top goal-scorer Lydia Stone opened the scoring with a fantastic goal from the top of the D.  Becky Philpott made two of her trademark runs, both ending in goals even though she was under the weather, and more goals came via Steph Cross and Becca Johnson.  Lydia Stone added one more to the tally making sure she will be hard to catch with only one more game to go.  Tunbridge Wells did, however, manage to break the Old Boys' defence with a consolation goal.  The game finished 1 - 6.
