Old Bordenian Ladies 2nd X1 – 3

Sevenoaks Ladies 5th X1 - 0

Old Bordenian Ladies took full advantage of Sevenoaks not having a 'keeper by scoring two goals in the first ten minutes, both coming from Lydia Stone.  The game looked to be on the same course as last week's victory but Sevenoaks defended extremely well and even looked threatening on the occasional attack, Tina Wellsted having to make some fine saves.  With the Old Boys trying to attack the Sevenoaks goal consistently, they lost their shape and 10 minutes before half time the game looked very scrappy.  Following the half time talk, The Old Boys, trying not to be too complacent, regained their structure and played some fine hockey.  Their lead was extended by Kelly Apps from a well worked short corner routine.  Sevenoaks settled in their defence, trying not to let the score-line be too damaging and the game finished 3 - 0.  The ladies go from strength to strength and take on Edenbridge at home on Saturday.
