Gore Court 3rd X1 - 1

Old Bordenians knew this was going to be a tough game from the start and were well prepared, attacking Gore Court's goal from the whistle.  This seem to unsettle Gore Court and the Old Boy's were able to score through a well worked goal by Steph Cross in open play.  With their strong point being their defence this season, the ladies 2nd's kept out a number of Gore Court short corners in the first half and went into the second half still 1-0 up. 

A fine show of team play and commitment by Old Bordenian Ladies could not, unfortunately keep out Gore Court and they scored half way through the second half.  There was no individual player of the match. The whole team played excellently and this was most definately a thrilling local derby which ended in a draw.
