This was by far OBs' best performance so far this season.  Both teams played hard throughout the game, pushing each other to the limit.  The first goal of the game came when Sarah Lodge was awarded a free hit outside the D: she then hammered the ball in, finding Jo Wilson on the far post, who reverse swept the ball into the back of the net.  OBs increased the pace of their game and continually pressured Holcombe right up until the half time whistle.  The second half was just like the first, both teams battling hard against each other.  Holcombe managed to get a goal after a quick break, evening the score.  With ten minutes to go, both teams were after the win, but it was Holcombe who managed to get the winning goal, making the final score 2-1.
