Bordenians got off to a tough start but soon regained their form after a magnificent goal from Jacqui Knee, maintaining a 1-0 lead well into the second half. Clifftonville upped their game in the second half and managed to slot in an equaliser. The game remained tense between the two teams, with great hockey being played at both ends. But unfortunately time did not allow either team to win the game, the match ending in a draw.
