Both teams went into this game knowing they needed the win to be promoted.  This battle of the titans was a hard fought match, both teams playing some superb hockey.  OBs opened the scoring with a super strike from Karen Ealey, soon followed up with another goal, this time from Charlotte Bridger, storming up the pitch and sweeping the ball past the keeper.  Brom/Becks then came back with a goal just before half time.  The second half brought more superb hockey and more goals, Jaqui ‘fee fee’ Knee dribbling round the defence, slipping OBs' third goal past the keeper.  Brom/Becks were then awarded a penalty flick which they put away.  The final score was 3-2 to Old Boys, who secured their third promotion in three seasons.
