Old Bordenian Ladies 1st XI – 7

Once again Bordenians turned in an outstanding performance, playing well throughout.  Ward opened up the scoring, sweeping the ball on a short corner.  OBs soon won another short corner which once again Ward put away, flicking the ball into the net.  OBs dominated for most of the first half, Lodge soon making the score 3-0 with a steamer of a shot, followed up with by shot from Cross which rattled the backboard.  OBs continued to dominate the game into the second half, scoring within less than 5minutes, again through another super Lodgey strike which was quickly followed by an Ellis goal.  The 7th and final goal came when Wilson Snr stormed up the pitch and hammered the ball past the keeper ending the game 7-0 to the Old Boys.
