Old Boys started slowly but soon settled into the game and picked up the pace, holding most of the possession towards the end of the first half.  The New Beccs defence was under constant pressure and this soon paid off for Old Boys when they achieved a free hit just outside the D.  Jo Wilson fired the ball to the far post and it was swept away by Nelson, giving Old Boys the advantage at half time.  OBs once again held most of the possession in the second half but could not put the ball in the back of the net, the game ending with a  1-0 victory for Old Bordenians.
