This was an unlucky first time loss of the season for Old Boys. They played some impressive hockey, but unfortunately a scrappy goal was scored by the visitors well into the first half. OBs came into the second half like a rocket, continually pressuring the Ash defence, constantly making shots at the very good ash keeper. Unfortunately Old Boys could not convert ant of these shots and the game ended 0 - 1.
