Old Bordenian Ladies 1^st XI – 4

This was a great game for Old Boys who played hard throughout the game, playing the style of hockey which they have had established but which had been missing in past weeks.  Most of the possession in the first half was held by Old Bordenians, constantly pressuring the Remnants' defence. This soon led to a goal from Sarah Lodge, dribbling round several players and firing the ball into the back of the net.  Soon after this, Lodge received a ball at the top of the D and fired it home, making the half time score 2-0.  The game in the second half was very much like the first, Old Boys constant pressure leading to an amazing goal from Charlotte Bridger sweeping the ball over the back line.  The fourth and final goal came when Lindsey Ellis received the ball from a short corner and fired it passed the defence and the 'keeper, making the final score 4-0 to Old Boys.
