This was not the outcome that Bordenians had hoped for.  They dominated the game from start to finish, constantly pressuring the Blackheath defence.  Many shots tested the Blackheath goalkeeper but none of these were converted.  The second half told the same story, Old Boys outplaying their opposition by far,  only allowing them two shots on goal throughout the game, but unfortunately their efforts and determination did not give them the result they deserved as it ended as a goalless game.
