Old Bordenian  6ths started with real conviction, taking complete control from the start. They were rewarded for their pressure when Bollard put them one up early on. The score seemed to indicate the first of many, but they were surprised to find themselves 2-1 down at the interval following a period of sluggish play.

After the break the OBs were penalised for not clearing their lines and found themselves further behind. For the final twenty minutes the OBS bombarded Anchorians but could only manage to pull one back, off a Collum Stevens poached effort and will feel that for the second week running they have lost a game they should have won.
