Old Bordenian 6th X1 – 9
BBHC – 2
Both teams comprised a blend of youth and experience and the first half was evenly balanced. Bordenians, however, took a 2 – 0 lead into half-time and looked to have established the greater control in most areas of the pitch. Further goals came, Stirling Campbell and Elliott Green both scoring their first for the club, and the home side rarely looked in danger of not taking three points. Surging runs from the BBHC centre midfielder, however, scythed through the Bordenians' defence and resulted in 2 goals for the visitors. Bordenians' other goals came from Matt Cooke (3), Ian Robinson (2) and Josh Cosgrove (2). The score-line did not do justice to the BBHC performance which deserved greater rewards.
