Old Bordenian 4^th X1 - 5

Old Bordenian 4th X1 travelled to Sevenoaks for a keenly contested game which allowed them to continue to develop as team.

By providing a secure defence, the combination of Gower, Waitt Bond and Lane allowed the midfield to move the ball with confidence creating numerous chances throughout the game.

Front man David Philp made many intelligent runs when receiving quality passes from Simon Robbins, and with Paul Young and Jamie Cashman very quick to support, goals became inevitable.

Despite the closeness of the competition, Old Bordenians were able to finish with a comfortable 5-1 victory thanks to goals by Philp, Young (2), Cashman and an expertly struck short corner from James Elkin.
