The first half of the game against Burnt Ash was played in a good spirit with both teams taking time to settle. The Old Boys attacked the opposition's goal throughout but thanks to some good goalkeeping the score was only 2-0 at half time. Within a minute of the start of the second half Ross Waitt converted a penalty corner and from then on, unfortunately, the nature of the game deteriorated. But despite the scrappiness of the play, Old Boys managed to maintain the lead and finished with a 5-1 victory.
