Fresh from a morale boosting 5 – 0 victory against Holcombe 5s last week, the OBs were hoping that this week's performance would continue in the same vein, and the team did not disappoint.  A convincing 4 – 0 victory was the result of all the team working hard for each other.  The blend of youth and experience was the key to the recent change in results.  Old Bordenians scored two first half goals, the first by Philp after a surprise one handed dribble by Robbins.  The second was a well worked goal after intelligent link play between Philp and scorer Jamie Cashman.  The second half gave two more goals, a penalty from Robbins and a superb end to end goal by Philp after a great run by Williams.  A convincing win built on a sound defence in front of a strong 'keeper, Baker.
