Old Bordenian 4B X1 - 10

Herne Bay - 0

Bordenians romped to their fourth straight win of the league campaign against an  understrength Herne Bay on Saturday. From the outset, Bordenians bombarded the Herne Bay goal with a fusillade of shots with Bollard and Mitchell both going close before a lead was secured. Bordenians maintained a level of pressure throughout the half that created constant anxiety in the Herne Bay defence resulting in a further three goals before the break.

The second half began in the same vein as the first, with Sellar and Willis running amok in midfield fed by the incandescent defence. Goals came at regular intervals until the final whistle, however Herne Bay at no time gave up the struggle but rarely emerged from their own half and required Atwal in the Bordenians' goal to make only one save during the entirety of the fixture. Bordenians march on Sevenoaks next Saturday looking to extend their excellent start to the season.
