Old Bordenian 4B X1 – 6

Herne Bay – 2

Old Bordenian 4Bs enjoyed a goal-fest this weekend, so much so that they scored   all eight goals of the match!

The second half was a vastly different affair, Bordenians suddenly becoming aware of their ability to dominate the game. Good, flowing hockey resulted and the young players of this development team demonstrated why they had been selected. Goals were scored by youngsters Richard Phillips, Rory Bollard and James Wilson and Andrew Sellar and captain Ross Waitt (2) added the rest. Herne Bay's only other foray of the game into the Bordenian D sadly again resulted in a deflection from a Bordenian stick, this time that of Dave Meaning,
