Old Bordenian 4A X1- 3

This intraclub friendly was played in fine spirit and full of attacking hockey.  Chris Hearnden, Matt Luckhurst and Nathan Cashman linked well to create several good chances for the 4As, but none were converted.  A 0-0 half time score line only proved to spur both teams forward, with Rob Elgar, Sam Conway and Dan Glazier carving an opening for Oliver Hewlett to score.  Adam Houghton's strong running display helped create the second 4As' goal scored by Matt Luckhurst.  4As' 'keeper David Baker again  excelled as the 5ths pressed forward.  An excellent solo goal by Oliver Hewlett ended in a reverse stick lob over the advancing keeper. Tony Cashman, Jeremy hewlett and Graeme Moore provided the experience and sometimes the old legs to steady the play.
