A surprisingly strong Anchorians team exposed the collective defensive inexperience of the whole Old Bordenian team when being attacked from all areas of
the pitch. Despite this, there were valiant performances at fullback from both Nathan Cashman and Adam Houghton. Bordenians attacked throughout the game, playing some attractive hockey, but finding the Anchorians defenders in an uncompromising mood and the goalkeeper in fine form.
