This was a welcome return to winning ways for the Old Bordenian 4As, with early first half pressure from Tony Cashman, Jeremy Hewlett, and Nathan Cashman leading to goals from Matt Luckhurst and a trademark reverse hit shot for Oliver Hewlett.  Over indulgence on the ball restricted OBs to a 2-0 half-time score-line.  OBs created numerous second half chances through great approach play from Bradleigh Barrett, Chris Hearnden, Adam Houghton and Rob Elgar.  Sam Conway scored the only OBs second half goal, with the Holcombe reply coming from a long corner mix-up spoiling another excellent Dave Baker performance.
