Fast attacking hockey during the first half set up this victory, with Cosgrove, Tom Moore and goal keeper James Anderson linking well with fine performances. The midfield trio of Dan Glazier, Sam Conway and Nathan Cashman drove the team forward, enabling Matt Luckhurst and Oliver Hewlett the room to supply Tom Moore with the opportunities to score 2 goals and set up a Bradleigh Barrett goal. Old Williamsonians replied with a well taken short corner goal for a 3 - 1 half time scoreline. Barrett got his second goal finishing a fantastic passing move, but the OBs stopped playing simple hockey at this point to miss out on the chance of a more emphatic scoreline.
