With a positive outlook Old Bordenians started their second game of the season with a determined approach.  During the first fifteen minutes the play was very equal and both teams had chances to score.  But after a few careless mistakes, Anchorians took the lead and by half-time they had extended their lead to 2 – 0.

The second half started with the Old Boys battling again for dominance of the game, but after a few failed attempts, it was Anchs who found the net and increased the margin to 3 - 0.  Through some great passing, the Old Boys started an attack from defence and sustained possession gave Mark Giblin an ideal shot on goal.  The game finished with the score 1 – 4.
