The Old Boys came up against their old nemesis, Ashford, this week, a team they have always struggled to get a result out of in the past. However, when Ashford turned up with 10 players, the Old boys knew they had to take this opportunity. Taking the lead early on through a Rob Sage short corner, the Old Boys played some excellent passing hockey and doubled the lead through Archer. However, despite being a man down, Ashford were still in the game and an Old Boys defensive error led to Ashford pulling one back.   However, the Old Boys knew that victory would be theirs if they kept their heads, and another goal for both Sage and Archer took the Old Boys to second in the table.
