The Old Boys missed a penalty stroke and then went two goals up through Dale and Sage before capitulating to a Sevenoaks side that they had the better of for most of the game. Down to ten men at the end of the first half, Sevenoaks hit back through a short corner before a fluke of a goal drew Sevenoaks level. A defensive error then let Sevenoaks in to score the winner, despite the efforts of the Old Boys to get back into the game. Shoebridge and Dale in particular worked tirelessly but the Old Boys had let the opportunity slip to secure 3 more points. Next week top of the table Maidstone.
