In their last away game of the season, the Old Boys travelled to Ashford and were unlucky not to come away with something from the game. Shooting boots seemed to have been forgotten as the Old Boys missed chance after chance, and Ashford scored from a well struck short corner. The Old Boys were unlucky to have a goal disallowed later on but the game was played in a good spirit between two teams whose survival is ensured.
