The Old boys travelled to bottom placed Folkestone, knowing 3 points would give the team one of their best starts for years. Knowing Folkestone would not give in easily, the Old Boys attempted to take the game to them and attach at all opportunities. However despite taking the lead through Bayford, the Old Boys struggled to dominate and score any further goals. Folkestone came out in the 2^nd half and administered a lot more pressure. Folkestone equalised early on and the Old boys continued to search for the winner. Baker in goal, held them back and eventually slightly fortuitously Bayford snuck in to grab the winner and the 3 points. The Old Boys now have 5 games against top half opposition and will be looking to build on their current points total.
