After a bright start to the season, it has been a dissappointing run into the Christmas break for Old Bordenians. Despite enjoying large periods of possession, OBs were unable to capitalise on early opportunities and after 15 minutes found themselves two goals down. They picked themselves up and pulled one back before the break.

A more determined Blackheath dominated the second half and overpowered OBs, taking 3 more goals with OBs scoring a late consolation goal thanks to Richard Cooper.

OBs will have the Christmas break to reflect and re-group for the second half of the season when they intend return to the league programme determined to fulfil their potential in this league.
