Bordenians made the long journey down to second placed Worthing on Saturday and narrowly missed out on taking some points home with them.

In a very tightly contested game, there were opportunities for both teams to open the scoring in the first half but some very solid defending found both teams level at half time.

OBs were confident going into the second half, but after ten minutes found themselves a goal down when Worthing converted a short corner.  Bordenians dominated the following 25 minutes, had several good opportunities to level the scores, but were unable to find the target.

There were many positive aspects of Bordenians' performance and they could have easily come away with some points from this game. Next week OBs entertain Tunbridge Wells and will be looking to get back to winning ways.
